FISHERY RULES

  • All wild fish, and all stocked fish 3lbs and over, are to be released.
  • Anglers are permitted to continue fishing under catch and release rules (max 20) once they have taken their fish limit.
  • Barbless hooks must be used at all times.
  • Knotless mesh landing nets must be used.
  • Fish to be released must not be handled outside of the water.
  • Strictly no sharing of bag limits (bags may be checked randomly)
  • A valid Rod Licence is required. This is your responsibility to obtain this before your visit.
  • Only conventional fly-fishing tackle is to be used at the Fishery.
  • ‘Boobie’ flies may only be used if ‘floated’ on the surface.
  • Hats and Glasses are to be worn for your safety.
  • No wading or swimming in the lakes at any time.
  • No radios or music to be audible to other anglers.
  • All anglers must despatch fish with a priest.
  • No rod sharing (unless prior agreement with the management)
  • All anglers must book in and out and record details of their catch, including “nil” returns.
  • The Management reserve the right to inspect angler’s equipment whilst at the fishery.
  • The first 1/2/3 fish (as per the day ticket purchased) are to be taken – this is not a selective fish ticket.
  • No discarded line or leaders be left on the bank as it can be fatal to wildlife.
  • Please ensure you take all your litter home.
  • Strictly No alcohol is permitted within the vicinity of the fishery.
  • Well behaved dogs are allowed, however they must always be kept under control.
    If they become noisy / a nuisance, they must leave the property.
  • Only dogs belonging to our paying guests are permitted to bring dogs onto our premises.
  • The Management reserves the right to refuse admission to the Fishery without explanation.
  • The minimum age for fishing is 16 years (if accompanied by and adult) otherwise minimum age is 18 years.
  • The management take no responsibility for any circumstances affecting the lake or fishing that are beyond their control.
  • Any angler found exceeding the bag limit will be expelled from the fishery with a lifetime ban and forfeit all monies paid and any fish caught.
  • The Management, shall not be liable for any fatality or injury to persons, how ever caused.
  • To the extent permissible by law, we accept nor take responsibility for any loss of personal items on the premises or damage to vehicles.
  • By paying for a day’s fishing, you undertake to accept and abide by the fishery rules.
  • Persons in breach of these rules will be expelled from the Fishery.

CAMPSITE RULES

  • We are a strictly adults only campsite (No under 18’s)
  • Please try to make as little noise as possible and be particularly quiet early in the morning and late at night including talking quietly and keeping the volume low if playing music or using equipment that makes a noise such as radios or TVs.  
  • Please leave our campsite as you found it when you vacate your pitch.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome, they should be kept under control at all times and please don’t forget to clean up after them. No dogs are to be left unattended.
  • BBQ’s are permitted however, we do insist they are not left unattended and you make sure to clean up afterwards.
  • The maximum time you can stay at the campsite is 28 nights.
  • No ball games are permitted on the campsite.
  • We operate a fair use policy on our electric hook ups. If you intend to use your air conditioning throughout your stay, please be advised this may incur additional charges.
